Watching the JesuOtaku review of Zero-Two and I have got to admit, the series is probably not as good as it used to be, considering the numerous plot holes involved in this series. Still, it's part of my childhood so I'll grin and bear it ^_^;;

As I write this, I find that I like this format, planning ahead before figuring out what's going on. As it stands, I'm working on what feels more like a final battle in the making. Each story is set in 27 hour increments by nature, but it also has a lot of implied filler since I can't seem to connect A to B to C lately.

The more I look at this, the more I realize that if I were to actually write the big damn heroic scene, it would be anticlimactic in part 2, and immediately jumping to a recap of a possible alternate universe is totally fun.

From here, I figure I'll jump to the next world, the KH one. Since I definitely like this format I have going.

Brings back memories.

And no, "whistleloli" doesn't have good connotation for loliHikari. Maybe "whistlechat".

As a note, not sure where the lesbians came from.
drunkenpandaren: (Spirit Evo)
Yes it means I'm getting back into the swing of things. People are REALLY excited for me to go to [livejournal.com profile] xi_rpg with Jack Rakan and [livejournal.com profile] axiomnexus and [livejournal.com profile] capeandcowl with Beast Wars Megatron.

This however is for [livejournal.com profile] thepraxeum and yeah it's Izumi. Been getting back to my roots with the Digimon Fandom and I also have a Jasmine (Pokemon Gym Leader) muse. And Miyako came back.

Anyway..

Memories; will your character be keeping them or will they be wiped?: Keeping them. It makes her what she is.

Brief (around 300-400 words, give or take) personality outline of your character:

Izumi is a fairly spirited girl with a caring heart for those who manage to get into her good books. Outgoing and a little rough and tumble she is well versed in other cultures with a handle on Italian as she lived in Italy for most of her life. Izumi also had the hardest time making friends because she moved everywhere, and thus built up a little bit of a wall, something that the other Legendary Warriors managed to get through. She can be kind and caring and then horribly violent at the drop of a hat depending if another character has gotten under her skin.

Brief (around 500 words) history and background of your character OR link to a really good wiki page with their history and specifications. In either case, explain where they cut off from the timeline:

http://digimon.wikia.com/wiki/Zoe_Orimoto

Izumi’s history really began on the day when she took the train from the station and met up with the other kids who would soon become the Legendary Warriors, Takuya Kanbara, Junpei Shibayama, Tomoki Himi and later on Koji Minamoto. She was often in argument with the others before and after she got her Spirit of Wind in a battle in Windy Village. Having had to cut off her friendships from moving, Izumi took time to get to know the others. Soon after however, she lost the Spirit of Wind to Grumblemon and was helpless for a few days afterwards until her spirit was recovered.

One of the major points for Izumi’s history was her long-standing battle with Ranamon, the Spirit of Water given physical form. Ranamon hated Izumi and Fairymon by extension, often going out of her way to harm the girl. Izumi fought back numerous times during the course of their journey and obtained the Beast Spirit of Wind, evolving to Shuutumon to defeat Ranamon even after she had gotten the Beast Spirit of Water, and evolved to Calamarimon.

She made good friends with the others and went to the Dark Continent where they met Duskmon, the strongest of the other five warriors. It turned out that Duskmon was bonded to Kouichi Minamoto, the twin brother of Koji who was separated from him at birth. Duskmon gave them a thrashing time and time again and only after a titanic battle did Kouchi finally come to his senses and joined them. They went to Cherubimon’s Castle and did battle with him. From this point however, Izumi relegated herself to a background person, as she gave her spirits to Takuya and Koji in order for them to Hyper Spirit Evolution into a much stronger form.

Since then, Izumi has cheered the others on, helping when she can and evolving a rare few times since then. But when the final battle came, she helped out as much as possible, evolving before they all joined into the mighty Susanoumon, the pinnacle of 10 spirits merged together and defeated Lucemon. Their worlds returned to normal, Izumi was sent back home before the gate would close forever.

Izumi’s cut off point would be on the trip back to the Real World, cut off from the Digital World as it begins to heal while her hand is still joined with Fairymon’s.

Sample post (just a general, everyday, puttering around/exploring/or even your entrance; please include a snippet of dialogue): The Jedi Temple was by far the strangest place that Izumi had been in, and the digital world didn’t come close to the pure exoticness of the land before her. Tall shining skyscrapers in various alien designs, pillars, holographic displays… it was something right out of a science fiction story.

The digital world in contrast was rugged, natural, and something Izumi found reassuring, not with the alien-like scenario she was dealt with.

“This is… incredible,” breathed Izumi as she stuck her head into the vast Jedi library, watching the caretaker sweep around in an elegant manner. She wondered how in the world she managed to arrive. Last thing she remembered was going back to the real world after Lucemon Satan Mode, and not to mention…

“Why do I have the spirits with me?” mused Izumi, scrolling through the displays on the D-Tector she held. Her cellphone was still transformed into the device and she bit her lip. “Does that mean… we failed? No… can’t be.”

It still worried her at the very least. What else could have happened while she was heading home from the place she fought so hard for?

If the character has magic or otherwise superhuman abilities, please explain what they are and outline EXACTLY how they function, as their powers may not work due to the nature of Force driven Universe or may need to be limited somehow. Explain how their unique abilities will be translated into Force-like affinities:

Izumi has an ability called Spirit Evolution which ties her to a pair of spirits known as the Warrior of Wind in two separate types; Human and Beast Spirits. Human implies a humanoid-type form while Beast implies a more animal-like form.

Fairymon, the first form implies the use a sprite-like character, dressed in purple with a visor. Her attacks offer various wind abilities, most notably flight and a high speed movement.

Shuutumon, the second form provides a faster and more agile form, able to manipulate energy into cutting attacks.

As for a translation to the Force, if transformation is out of the question then they are directly bonded to her, providing her with a fairly strong connection to the Force. It would give Izumi fairly decent potential with a sort of sliding strength scale dependant on her emotions. Primarily of the Jedi type that Master Windu, ie, an Old Republic type Jedi, her Force powers fluxuates from low to mid-level power levels.

Canonically speaking, the potential that Izumi could have Hyper Spirit Evolutioned into a higher form by merging both spirits is high, but not applicable currently due to character restraints.

Non-superhuman abilities of note (Are they good at, say, painting, martial arts, dancing, or, hell, bartending, etc?):
