Blogging From Home
Oct. 15th, 2008 08:37 pmTwo years ago, I would have cared more about what just happened. A deck of cards was put into the wash with my hoodie and currently I'm still missing about 2 to 5 of them in that vast abyss known as the washing machine.
Two years ago? Maybe even three or even FOUR, I would have cared. I would have freaked to find out that my deck was put into the wash. As it stands, I dunno if they'll be removable from their sleeves when they dry.
Now though? I feel like it's not a great loss. These cards have been put into production so many times, plus the ready availability of them have caused me to take a "meh" statement. It's not a big deal. The most expensive card in there was worth TEN DOLLARS.
I suppose this means that I don't care about my Yugioh cards anymore, but I do care enough that I take a moment to blog and mourn for their loss.
