Better Safe To Burn Them

Now that my monitor died unexpectedly, I decided to grab a monitor from my house. We've got a few lying around so I grabbed the oldest one, as much as I hated to do so.

Get this: the old one is broken. It doesn't work. THUS I am forced to purchase a new monitor.

Definitely going for a HP brand. Those things last for eternity. See, original computer.
