Momma Would Be Proud
Apr. 12th, 2007 02:08 amWent out to Honor Hold today for some light pvp when I noticed that the Towers were captured by the horde. When I checked Broken Hill, there was a lv 70 Blood Elf Paladin on a flying mount. I sauntered up on my own rickety mechanostrider and she gave me a hug. I hugged her back, and then she flew off after capturing the tower.
I flagged up and lo and behold, she came back. It was ON!
There's a specific science to doing well in pvp with Rogues and it doesn't involve Subtle spec. Far from it. You want to be combat and you want to do as much damage as possible with maximizing the use of Deadly Poison, self-buffing skills and equips, Sinister Strike combos maxed to 5 and Evicerate. So, invoking every goddamn skill I had, I fought with furious intencity as I am Perringnka, the Hobbit-Ninja, formerly known as Solid Snake, the one-shot "if you die to this, I'd be eternally greatful".
I won. Twice.
Third time she got me cause she did this funky move I thought warriors could only do, y'know, that spinning swords around her body thing. Turns out that Pallys learn it over 60. Who knew? First fight she didn't heal for some reason. Second fight she heal-spammed herself, lost her mana, arcane torrented and I STILL killed her. Third fight she invoked a few more stun spells. I was more concerned with smashing her down that I didn't drink a pot fast enough.
But yeah, it was fun times all around.
