Random Ficcery
Aug. 31st, 2006 08:55 amTwo fics have been bouncing around in my mind since I resumed work on Element: Water. The first one is a Kids Next Door/Filmore! crossover that's been brewing in my head for a while now. The idea is that the new kid, Nigel Uno was seen at the scene of the crime of a high-profile robbery in the school. Filmore and Ingrid are on the case, but there's more to the robbery than meets the eye.
The basic idea for Nigel's involvement is that he's thirteen now, and newly inducted into the ranks of the teenage Black Ops, the secret teenage level of the Kids Next Door. This is his first mission without his old team, as many of them returned to civilian life. I also had a thought of the principal of Filmore's school being a White Ops, the specialized adult-level spies.
The second fic idea is more around the lines of a Yu-Gi-Oh GX storyline, set in between season 1 and 2. Judai has returned home for the summer and when he tries to call Sho, he gets the answering machine. Misawa as well until he's called by Fubuki and Asuka. Fubuki can feel the air, it feels terribly wrong for some reason. And Judai keeps seeing a man in a trench coat where ever he goes. The basic story of this is that Judai is forced into returning to Duel Academy and steal the three Legendary Demons, cause he knows of nothing else that could defeat Anubis who has risen from the dead once more.
Two Random Thoughts, supplimented by the idea of W.I.T.C.H. Diaries. I haven't killed that fic yet, despite Akino's terrified reaction, but I actually think I could pull it off with some help from the guild.
