It must be true...

... I'm one of those people who get sleepy and lethargic during rainy days.

I went to work today, feeling awake and vibrant. But it was raining and then I started falling asleep. At work. I must have dozed off for fifteen minutes once. Why? Conclusion: I need natural sunlight. It would also explain why I always sleep so much during the winter.

Psychological need of the sun is a curious effect and phenomenon and one that I'd like to find out more about soon, but for now, I think I'll just hit bed early. Maybe 10 should do.

Yeah, it's called seasonal affective disorder--humans feel sleepy/depressed when there's less sunlight. Also, we depend on sunlight to develop some key vitamins like D and K (I think those are the ones). Staying in a brightly lit room sometimes helps, I've read. I do that when I start feeling the same--just turn on all the lights in the room, light a few candles, and wait 'til I start feeling better.

*shrugs* I'm the opposite, I'm like that when it's sunny out.
