It's cold in the house...
...and that's saying something.
Ever since we got the house remodeled, the upstairs rooms are a lot colder than usual. Pretty much when we first put some add-ons onto the house, we're lacking a few specific things. Specifically our Heat-Shields that we put onto the windows. These heat-shields keep the house warm all year around, especially upstairs where it gets hit by the cold easily.
The heat-shield loss wouldn't be too bad since I DID get a cool new set of windows from the remodelling but we moved the fireplace downstairs and while it cuts down on our heating bill, I find that the loss of the heat shields really makes a difference as the heater is coming on a bit more often than usual. Thus, I'm writing this in my housecoat.
At least there's no snow on the ground. Something akin to El Nino is coming through Canada but I thought that was a bit too early. Aw well, my timing must be off. It's chilly in the mornings and to boot, I have no blinds or curtains since we need to put some new ones back onto the wall. Aw well, it's just one christmas anyhow and I'm sure mom and dad'll find a way to get heat-shields back onto the house windows.
I'm feeling the pull of lack of YGO DMGX episodes and Naruto stuff. It's just not the same reading the manga at times. But I can barely watch anything on this computer so it's all good.
