Forgive me...
... for giving a damn.
Went job hunting today after that disasterous meeting. Papered the town. The ONE time I really want to find a new job cause this one is eating my SOUL.
Three good points of today. One and Two : Got Fellowship of the Ring on Extended DVD and Muppet Treasure Island on DVD from Best Buy. It is now my new best friend. And thirdly, I got into the Marvel VS DC System TCG. It's sweetness at the core. What's NOT to love when you can get Etrigan, a 18/18 beatstick that can pretty much toss Superman, Big Blue Boy Scout through a brick wall with ease with a little help? Sure Supes stands at 20/20 but there's ways to pump up wigged out Jason Blood.
And it has a massive Starfire card and a cool Terra card to boot. Starfire comes at a strength equal to Superboy and plus she has flight, range and can toss Supes through a wall with some help from Titan-based cards.
But sadly, the downside hit. So much stress and worry and lack of a jacket kicked in. I'm now officially sick. It feels like a cheese grater scraped itself across my throat, my tonsils feel like golf balls, my head hurts and my stomach is doing Paranoia Extreme at Full Trick levels. The only things keeping me sane right now is the Tylenol Cold medication and the fact that I'm not pulling a fever. Well, that and I notified my boss so that he'll find someone else for tommorow. I don't wanna come in sick and contaminate the workplace... as satisfying as that would be next to arson.
