Augh Ho-Oh

Trying to catch this Pokemon is tough. I need to figure out how to do it with my current team. Gengar only has mean look and that's not going to cut it. I need a false swipe on my team but I need to get a Scyther from Platinum and level it up to ungodly status. Or just maybe MY Scyther. In any case, I need to retreat and think of a new strategy that doesn't involve me getting my ass kicked by a flying flaming chicken.

*sniggers* This is why I rarely have more than one or two of the Legendaries of any generation in my collection unless it's the designated "Master Ball Use" pokemon like Mewtwo or Lugia/Ho-oh depending upon which version you pick.

It's mostly just a problem of underleveled Pokemon than anything else. I can easily get it down if I'm fast enough, but trying to catch it, that's the killer.

I was having the same trouble with Lugia. Took me several tries with Ultra Balls, Heavy Balls, and Dusk Balls.
