WoW Stuff

Specifically Warcraft fiction. As of late, I've been reading Warcraft Legends, The War of the Ancients Trilogy as well as the amazing World of Warcraft comic series. But nothing more has gripped me than the In-Game Lore, specifically focusing around the Ashbringer, and it's newest holder Tirion Fordring.

As it stands, I've been researching stuff on it, and also have been watching Tales of the Past 3 far too much. I do realize TOTP3 is a machinima, but so was Red vs Blue and Roosterteeth hasn't shut down the nine billion RP journals for them. Besides, I think at least writing the fic would be something of a tribute to Martin Falch.

The four characters would be from Warcraft Legends, Book 2. They consist of the twin sisters Lieren and Loania, one raised by Wildhammer Dwarves, the other by High Elves, and a very odd pair of friends, Miles Corebender a Gnome Warrior and Kova Broadhorn, a Tauren Shaman.

The story goes is that stories started to filter down into Ironforge where people are trading stories and tales. One of the elder dwarves speaks of The Legendary, a tale of an unknown Ashbringer lost to time

The story leads into the rumor that the Ashbringer has been found, and is being brought to Northrend to be used to fight the Lich King. Intrigued, "Yimo", one of the frequenters leaves for Northrend

It's in Valiance that he meets the twin sisters who are famous for ridding the Tower of Karazhan of it's corruption, and both Miles and Kova who's tale has been sung as a sign of great trust between races

During the night, the Vykrul come in the night, stealing away people and attacking the small port town, forcing the five to defend whatever is left. Forces strained in the morning, they set out.

The idea is that they're tracking the Vykrul who took "a powerful magic item" to be used in the war against Arthas. Along the way, they are ambushed by two dozen Vykrul but are saved by Trag Highmountain, an undead Tauren

Trag reluctantly helps them, fearing his own corruption would make him fight the others. But they make it to Utguarde Keep, the main base of the Vykrul. Staging a distraction, they get to the Catacombs

An imprisoned Dwarf tells them of a paladin messenger who was dragged to the back, and they go and help him, only to find that the item has been thrown into the depths of the catacombs.

The idea goes on, well into Dragonblight and even has one of my famous epic fight scenes of Arthas vs Blazer when he's forced to reveal himself as the former Ashbringer.

As it stands? I have pretty awesome dreams right now.
